It was really nice to play in a tournament down in sunny Florida because it had been almost two months since my last competition round. As always, it was great getting to play LPGA International in Daytona because it will be the course where I will compete later this year at the Symetra Tour Championship.
At this tournament, I definitely learned what I need to continue to work on during the offseason so that I am ready to go in March when the Symetra Tour commences. I have been practicing and playing mainly at Providence and Carolina Country Clubs. I’m working on my swing and have been training and working out a lot. I appreciate the support I have at home in Charlotte and the people who help me stay in shape and help me hone my skills.
The Symetra Tour has released a preliminary schedule and we will get it loaded on this site soon. Play starts in early March at Winter Haven, Florida. I am excited to get back on the road and will continue to practice this month to get ready for the season.
