July will take us to several states, New York, Michigan, and Missouri. Yes, you read that right, it is three thousand miles just to get to each site and back home. In Rochester I have two pre-events I’m excited about and then the four-day tournament at Brook Lea Country Club.
Next, back to Michigan, this time to Battle Creek Country Club for the third of the Potawatomi series. This tournament is a little different from others in that the two top leaders will qualify to play in a prestigious LPGA major tournament in France, The Evian Championship. There are 31 LPGA tour members who are competing and most of the Symetra top money leaders are playing. The field this week is 156 players.
The tour has added two new Kansas/Missouri tournaments this year, my last July event is the first of them, at Staley Farms Golf Club in Kansas City, Missouri. We are very thankful for the sponsors who decided to host these tournaments.
